Ned Andrews
Adjunct Fellow
Ned Andrews is an attorney based in Virginia and an adjunct fellow with the Competitive Enterprise Institute. His writing for CEI focuses on the market-oriented reform of regulations affecting the insurance industry.
Prior to joining CEI, he served as an assistant prosecutor in Virginia state courts. During law school at the University of Virginia, he was active in the Federalist Society and served on the Managing Boards of the Journal of Law and Politics and the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology.
In addition to his law degree from U.Va., whose law school receives no taxpayer funding, Mr. Andrews holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Yale University. His other accomplishments include winning the 1994 Scripps National Spelling Bee and setting a record for most consecutive questions answered on the NBC quiz show 1 vs. 100.
