Washington, D.C., June 14, 2011 -- CEI Associate Director of Technology Studies Ryan Radia  is speaking today at the 2011 “Computers, Freedom & Privacy” Conference, held over the next three days at the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
Radia is participating in an 11:00 a.m. plenary panel this morning on "Do Not Track."  The panel will explore the costs and benefits of proposed mechanisms for offering internet users protection against online tracking by advertising networks. Radia will argue that regulating online privacy risks undermining innovation, consumer choice, and market solutions to privacy challenges.
