The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives and the Competitive Enterprise Institute together submitted public comment to the Department of Transportation opposing DOT’s planned ban on e-cigarettes. The DOT claims authority to ban smokeless e-cigarettes from commercial airline flights, despite the fact that there is no research indicating that e-cigarette vapor, with or without nicotine, is harmful to users or bystanders.
