From George Leef's post in The National Review:
The furor over Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy’s opposition to same-sex marriage has now reached at least one college campus. As Hans Bader writes in a Minding the Campus essay [3], NYC’s city-council speaker wants New York University to stop leasing space to Chick-fil-A so that the Big Apple might become free of the horrible taint of that restaurant chain.
As Bader shows, the university has sound legal grounds for telling the city to fuhgeddaboudit – but will officials want to get on the bad side of city bigwigs?
