Washington, D.C., April 6, 1999 – The Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) is pleased to announce that Jennifer Zambone has joined CEI as Environmental Research Assistant in the department of risk and environmental policy.
Jennifer brings to CEI a background in both science and law, having earned a law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1998 and a Bachelors Degree in Biology from Washington and Lee in 1993. Before joining CEI, Jennifer served as assistant to former Senator Durenberger in his Washington office Durenberger/Foote. Jennifer will work with Angela Logomasini, director of risk and environmental policy, on issues related to chemical risk, scientific research, and clean air.
The Competitive Enterprise Institute is well known as the home to the largest free-market environmental program in Washington, D.C. Focusing on issues ranging from global warming to endangered species, CEI advocates a free-market approach to environmental issues. The department of risk and environmental policy covers all work on Superfund, solid and hazardous waste, recycling, toxics, air quality, and related issues.
