On Friday, April 27th, concerned citizens will rally outside the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau in Washington, D.C. to send the message that the writer known to millions online as Kareem Amer is not forgotten.

The Washington demonstration will be held in concert with others around the world. Parallel events  are planned in Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Romania, Sweden, the United Kingdom.
The Bureaucrash Activist Network is committed to human rights, free speech and an open society. The men and women gathered in Washington, D.C. and around the world today will send a message to the Egyptian government that their persecution of dissenting voices will not be ignored or forgotten.
