The Car is under increasing attack as a polluter, gas guzzler, and destroyer of civilized life.  But in a new study to be presented this Friday, Philosophy Professor Loren E. Lomasky takes a diffferent tack.  He views the car and the freedom it creates as a major advance for humanity.
