Repeal for Resilience featuring OIRA Administrator Paul Ray: Online Event
Some of the most helpful policy responses to the coronavirus pandemic loosen rather than impose restrictions. Many of the regulations that are being scrapped to fight COVID-19 were #NeverNeeded in the first place. Please join CEI for an online discussion about how deregulation offers a swift, effective response to both the current crisis and long-term economic renewal. The event will feature remarks by Paul Ray, Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, on the Executive Order on Regulatory Relief to Support Economic Recovery.
CEI vice president Wayne Crews and senior fellow Ryan Young will discuss lasting reform efforts from CEI’s new Ten Thousand Commandments report. The 2020 survey estimates the annual cost of federal regulation at more than $1.9 trillion, or more than $14,000 per household.
