“Government is spending more than ever before – $2.73 trillion – and the President has submitted a $3 trillion spending plan for next year. Between paying taxes and paying to comply with government regulations, it’s a crushing burden for American businesses and workers. CEI Expert Available to Comment: Senior Fellow Gregory Conkodeadly overcaution: on the FDA’s

“Last year alone, the FDA rejected approval for five new cancer drugs, including a breakthrough treatment for prostate cancer called Provenge. Although a panel of cancer experts that advises FDA on new drug approvals unanimously agreed that Provenge was safe, and voted 13 to 4 that it was effective, FDA demanded still more testing that may delay approval for three more years. Unfortunately, the Provenge rejection is not unusual, and this extra agency caution doesn't actually improve drug safety.”

What further horrors await all true believers in the Goracle’s pronouncements? If the physicists can open up a genuine debate global warming, when might the politicians follow suit?”
