Lee Doren previously worked at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Doren graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Communications, and he received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is currently licensed to practice law in Illinois and the District of Columbia.

Shortly after law school, Lee became Illinois’ 5th District Director of the FairTax, and to continue his online activism, he also launched the YouTube channel, “HowTheWorldWorks.”  Eventually, “HowTheWorldWorks” became one of the largest political channels on YouTube.

Lee Doren has given speeches in Annapolis, Maryland on the Bill of Rights, and he spoke at the Capitol building for the 9/12 March on Washington.  He has provided commentary for Fox News, CNN, Reuters, Air America and PressTV.  Lee has also been invited to give lectures for The Cato Institute, The Institute for Energy Research, the Young Britons’ Foundation in the United Kingdom, the State Policy Network, Lehigh University and was the youngest speaker to lecture for the Ronald Reagan Political Lecture Series at Oberlin College.
