Ryan Lynch manages CEI's Web and IT departments, maintaining and developing CEI's web properties, while doing the same for CEI's internal hardware and software needs.  His approach for technology management for public policy organizations is to attempt to strike the best balance between large (enterprise grade) and small (consumer grade) scale solutions because public policy groups usually operate on a scale which is too small for a large scale solutions and too big for a small scale one.  He also hates spending money, which is indicative of his Minnesota upbringing.

He earned his B.S. from Winona State University in Communication Arts and Literature in 2004.  After graduating he worked as a high school English teacher and a special education teacher's assistant.  A long time lover of technology and tinkering he made the career change into Web and IT in 2008.

He is also a contributor to the LibertyWeek podcast and an amateur author.
