John has written about the impact of public policy on entrepreneurship for publications like Wall Street Journal, Barron's, Investor's Business Daily. He graduated from the University of Missouri with degrees in journalism and economics.

Mr. Conko’s expertise is in food and drug regulation, biotechnology, agriculture and agricultural trade, and the general treatment of health and environmental risks in public policy. He is co-founder and VP of AgBioWorld Foundation.

Mr. Crews’ work includes regulatory reform, antitrust policy, safety and environmental issues, and various information-age concerns like privacy, broadband, and intellectual property. He has testified before several congressional committees.

Mr. Ebell chairs the Cooler Heads Coalition, which comprises over two dozen non-profit groups in this country and abroad that question global warming alarmism and oppose energy rationing.

Prior to joining CEI, Ms. Hall was a reporter with CNS News, reporting on economics and politics. Ms. Hall also served as a policy analyst for Steve Forbes's 2000 presidential campaign, a social security policy analyst for former Rep. Mark Sanford.

As an attorney, Horner has represented CEI, scientists, and Members of the U.S. Congress on matters of environmental policy in the federal courts including the Supreme Court. He is the author of two best-selling books on global warming policy.

In addition to being CEI’s General Counsel, Mr. Kazman heads CEI’s Death By Regulation project. This project focuses on raising public awareness of the often hidden costs of government overregulation.

Eli Lehrer directs CEI’s studies of insurance, gaming, and credit markets. He ranks among the most quoted experts in the insurance trade press; his work has appeared in many publications including The Washington Post, Weekly Standard, and LA Times.

Mr. Lewis writes on global warming, energy policy, and other public policy issues. Prior to joining CEI in April 2002, he served as Director of External Relations at the Reason Foundation.

Mr. Lewis is a Koch Associate with the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation. Verlan received his B.A. (cum laude) in political science and American studies from Brigham Young University.

Ms. Logomasini conducts research and analysis on environmental regulatory issues. She is co-editor of CEI’s Environmental Source, and she has published articles in Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, the Washington Times, and other papers.

Ms. Minton is a part of the insurance working group at CEI. Before joining CEI she worked in the advertising field managing the production of video advertisements.

Mr. Osorio’s writings focus on labor issues and the new economy. Prior to joining CEI, Osorio was editor of Labor Watch, a monthly publication at Capital Research Center.

Mr. Radia focuses on adapting law and public policy to the unique challenges of the information age. His research encompasses electronic privacy, online speech, telecommunications regulation, and media ownership.

Silvia is working on a documentary that will showcase developing countries’ right to be enriched through capital-intensive extractive industries such as energy and mining. She is also the writer-editor at www.ecuadorminingnews.com.

Mr. Smith combines intellectual and strategic analysis of complex policy issues ranging from the environment to corporate governance with an informative and entertaining presentation style. He speaks at universities and conferences worldwide.

Ms. Walsh brings to Washington the non-traditional background of being a home educator for thirteen years. She is a regular contributor to CEI’s OpenMarket.org and GlobalWarming.or.
