Who: The Top-10 student contestants will receive a stipend and be invited to the Conference (see below for contest details).

CONTEST DETAILS

We are pleased to invite all students to compete in the 2010 Bureaucrash Student Activism Competition & Conference!  Ten students with the best response to the following question: “How can students best communicate the message of liberty to the next generation?” will be invited to a two-day activism conference at the Competitive Enterprise Institute.  Winners will attend liberty activism seminars and network with other student liberty activists.*
Students must submit responses in one of the following formats:

  1. One 500-1000 word essay;
  2. One 5 minute online video (the url to the video may be submitted via email);
  3. One 5 minute podcast (the url to the podcast may be submitted via email).

The winners will be notified via email or phone by May 31st, 2010 and be provided a $500 stipend to attend the activism conference at the Competitive Enterprise Institute in Washington, DC (the $500 stipend will be provided to participants during the conference, not before).  Three runners-up will receive an “Enjoy Capitalism” T-shirt and other Bureaucrash contraband.

For travel planning purposes, winners should plan to arrive at the The Quincy – Downtown Boutique Suite Hotel between 3:00pm and 5:00pm on Friday, July 23rd and to depart no sooner than Sunday, July 25th.
