House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi claimed this week that everything that could be cut from the federal budget had already been cut. “The cupboard is bare,” Pelosi said on CNN. “There’s no more cuts to make. It’s really important that people understand that.” CEI experts took a look at the budget for themselves and, perhaps not surprisingly, disagree with Pelosi’s assessment.
