Capitol Hill Staff Meet the Experts on Policy
Staff members from House and Senate offices mixed with CEI’s own policy staff last night in the Rayburn House Office Building for our Meet the Experts reception. The event was an opportunity to introduce Hill staff to our compendium of recommendations, Free to Prosper: A Pro-Growth Agenda for the 115th Congress, and to our newest staff member, Government Affairs Manager Taylor Barkley.
The 115th Congress has voted on several important issues already this year, including the Regulatory Accountability Act, multiple resolutions of disapproval of Obama-era rules under the Congressional Review Act, and President Trump’s many executive nominations. Members of Congress have an ambitious list of priorities ahead of them, including both their own initiatives and those being sent down by the White House. CEI experts will be working to provide them with the best in free-market policy analysis along the way.
