FCC Declines to Hammer Localism Issue

On Friday, the FCC rejected complaints from public interest groups whining that some Chicago and Milwaukee stations did not give a lot of coverage to local elections. It’s good to see the FCC doing something right. Station owners should be able to broadcast what they want, not what they don’t. If customers demand more coverage of local elections, they can with the push of a button change to a station broadcasting about local elections.
