FCC Internet Deregulation Upheld

The federal Third Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia recently upheld an FCC ruling that deregulated high-speed internet service over traditional phone lines. The decision in Time Warner Telecom v. FCC is available here.

CEI’s Wayne Crews recently wrote to the FCC describing the benefits to consumers of deregulation and pointing out the dangers of proposals that the FCC impose price controls on broadband Internet service.
