Free Trade Is Good for Both Havana and East Atlanta

Our musical friend Remy has a new video out this week for ReasonTV that puts a pop spin on trade policy and comparative advantage.

My colleagues Ryan Young and Iain Murray have taken issue with a lot of trade policy that has come out of the Trump White House, and with good reason. Remy’s latest melodic argument reinforces one of the most important points they have been making—nationalistic demands that certain arbitrary goods be produced domestically rather then imported will leave U.S. consumers and the economy in general worse off.
