Here’s something I’ll keep off the gift list

Here’s an idea; have your kids pick up trash and play with it. Gadget site hizs.com says this little plastic octopus “reinforces environmentalism in youngsters.” They pick up empty plastic bottles, screw them in, and–presto–vacationing families have a floating octopus to play with. Hizs tells us, “You and your offspring have just ridded the littered beaches of at least 8 pieces of potentially dangerous plastic trash. It’s really kind of sad there aren’t more inventions like this one.”

The mouth looks just the right size for the backwash to come sloshing out. It might be even more sad if there aren’t any in-network doctors nearby.
