If there’s a will, there’s a market

The “healthier food in the school lunch” story is inevitable if you work for a local paper, but it never excited me. No matter what well meaning reporters campaigned about on the Missourian’s education pages, the students at Hickman High School would still trek across the streets to the fast food joints on the other side of the street.

This cute little story from Victorville Daily Press in California tells the story on entrepreneuring junior high schoolers providing their peers with access to controlled substances, a.k.a. sugar after the well-meaning Governor Schwarzenegger banned candies in the vending machines.
