Have conservatives been hypocritical on cronyism?

Watchdog.org reports on a CPAC panel discussion on cronyism moderated by Bill Frezza. 

Bill Frezza, host of the Real Clear Radio Hour, kicked things off by noting the hypocrisy of many politicians who claim to support business, but in reality only support certain businesses.

“Corporate welfare is a large and controversial subject, and it brings out the hypocrisy of so many political actors,” Frezza said. “They loudly condemn government handouts to others,” but not when it comes to certain businesses they support or which companies donate to their campaigns.

Since it was CPAC, Frezza said people within the conservative movement need to be called out for not always supporting free market policies, but instead taking the positions of a “crony corporatist.”
