Freedom Works references CEI’s work on the CFPB,
The Supreme Court ruled that the structure of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a brainchild of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), is unconstitutional. The Court ruled that the director must be able to be appointed and removed by the President at will. The Court did stop short of abolishing the agency altogether.
