‘Swamp’ Thwarts Trump With $1.9T ‘Hidden Tax’ In Regulations

The Washington Examiner cites Vice President of Policy and Senior Fellow Wayne Crews on CEI’s “Ten Thousand Commandments” report.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute said that the $1.9 trillion in regulation translated into a “burden” of $14,600 on every household, an amount so high that if the costs were a country, it would the ninth largest, just ahead of Canada.

Clyde Wayne Crews Jr., author of the just-released Ten Thousand Commandments: An Annual Snapshot of the Federal Regulatory State, found that Trump has made good on his promise to cut regulations.
