The modern regulatory state continues to test the boundaries of constitutional government. Faced with expansive agency rulemaking, costly regulatory mandates, and blurred lines between legislative and executive power, policymakers confront a central question: How can Congress reclaim its proper role and restore accountability?

Please join CEI for an Alfred E. Kahn Discussion featuring deregulatory champion Senator Rand Paul. The Senator will open the dinner with remarks on the most critical reform opportunities on the horizon, followed by a moderated conversation led by CEI President Kent Lassman.

About the Series:

Named after deregulatory “czar” Alfred E. Kahn—who famously chaired and disbanded the Civil Aeronautics Board—CEI launched this discussion series in 2017 to carry forward his legacy. These private roundtable dinners gather leading experts to discuss opportunities and strategies for reforming the contemporary regulatory state.

This discussion will be held under Chatham House Rule.
