Liz Truss was British Prime Minister from September 2022 to October 2022. She was previously Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs in 2021. She has also served as Minister for Women and Equalities, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Education and Childcare. She was elected as the Conservative MP for south west Norfolk in 2010. Truss studied philosophy, politics and economics at Merton College, Oxford.
