Hosted by CEI & the Legatum Institute

Weaponization of the financial system is a matter of urgent concern. Despite the defeat of Operation Choke Point a few years ago, we see the threat of regulatory action leading to debanking, which may have affected even the future First Lady. U.S. regulators are exceeding their authority to implement corporate ESG mandates. Nor is America alone in this abuse of regulatory authority, which is happening all over the developed world.
Please join the Competitive Enterprise Institute and London’s Legatum Institute to discuss these trends and work towards solutions on Wednesday, December 11th. The morning sessions will kick off at 9:00 a.m. at CEI’s downtown office followed by a lunch briefing on Capitol Hill from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Senate Visitors Center 212-10. Transportation will be available for those attending both the morning sessions and Hill briefing.
