Federal labor regulators are taking aim at the work preferences and aspirations of people in 21st Century America, imposing rules that make work like contracting, franchising, and freelancing more difficult. Those regulations include: the National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) ruling that expands joint employer liability over work conditions and terms, the NLRB ambush election rule that makes unionizing a workplace easier, and the U.S. Department of Labor rule expanding the federal overtime pay mandate.

Please join Competitive Enterprise Institute Vice President for Strategy Iain Murray on Friday, September 16, to hear more about this growing problem and what Congress can do about it.

This briefing is reserved for Capitol Hill members and their staff only. Please RSVP to [email protected] or call 202-942-7660.

For purposes of congressional ethics rules, this is a widely attended event.
