Hybrid Book Forum Featuring Philip K. Howard
In his new book, Not Accountable: Rethinking the Constitutionality of Public Employee Unions, Chair of Common Good and bestselling author Philip K. Howard argues public employee unions undermine democratic governance. Howard analyzes how unions have disempowered elected officials and have seized control over the operating machinery of government. Voters elect mayors and governors who no longer have the authority to govern sensibly. Please join CEI for a discussion on the constitutionality of public employee unions with author Philip K. Howard, in conversation with Kent Lassman. Sign up below to attend the reception and book forum in person or to watch the discussion online only.
