One of the greatest modern myths is that plastics harm the environment. In fact, they are greener and more sustainable than many of the alternatives. Please join CEI for an online discussion debunking the lore with leading plastic materials scientist Dr. Chris DeArmitt and CEI’s in-house policy expert Dr. Angela Logomasini, in conversation with CEI President Kent Lassman. In his recently published The Plastics Paradox: Facts for a Brighter Future, DeArmitt clearly illustrates the evidence with plastics life cycle analysis. In similar fashion, Logomasini is working to encourage more sensible policy solutions in a new series of CEI studies addressing the benefits of plastics to humanity and the environment.
