Ryan Nabil was a Research Fellow with the Center for Technology and Innovation at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. Prior to CEI, Ryan completed an MA in global affairs from Yale University, where he studied international relations, international law, and quantitative analysis. Whilst at Yale, Ryan worked as a teaching fellow for three Yale courses and served as the managing editor of the Yale Journal of International Affairs.
Prior to Yale, he worked at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where he researched global macroeconomy, financial regulation, and agricultural policy issues. During three years at AEI, Ryan published more than three dozen articles in outlets including Foreign Affairs and The Washington Post. Ryan is also a Fox International Fellow at Sciences Po in Paris, France, where his research examines UK/EU foreign policy and Chinese and Russian approaches to international and regional organizations.
Ryan speaks English, French, German, Bengali, and intermediate Chinese, Hindi, and Russian. Ryan was previously educated at Oxford University and Kenyon College, where he earned a BA in economics.
