Global Warming Briefing: What’s Wrong with UN Climate Science?

A 1-day conference on global warming science during which climate experts from around the globe will question the assumptions of and expose the flaws inherent in the science underlying much of the current policy debate over global climate change.

Over a dozen leading climate scientists from around the world, including Dr. Vincent Gray of New Zealand, Dr. Paal Brekke of Norway, Mr. Richard Courtney of the United Kingdom, Dr. Ross McKitrick of Canada and Dr. Wibjorn Karlen of Sweden. Also in attendance will be policy experts from leading public policy organizations to give perspective and analysis on the political debate over global warming.
Why:
Supporters of the Kyoto Protocol constantly claim that global warming skeptics constitute only a half-dozen American climate scientists. Senator John Kerry recently repeated this charge at a Senate hearing. This briefing will bring together more than a dozen climate scientists from around the world who are “global warming skeptics”. These are scientists engaged in the real scientific debate, not politicians or political activists who caricature and mis-use the science to support their agendas. This is a rare opportunity to hear top international experts discuss climate change in plain English and to ask questions.
The briefing is open to all members of the press. Interviews with members of the scientific panels and policy staff of the Cooler Heads Coalition will be available between sessions and after lunch.
