I, Whiskey: The Human Spirit Finalist in TIVA-DC Peer Awards

The Competitive Enterprise Institute is pleased to announce I, Whiskey: The Human Spirit is a finalist at this weekend’s 2016 Television, Internet & Video Association (TIVA) of DC Peer Awards. I, Whiskey is nominated for the education production category.

Founded in 1997, TIVA-DC celebrates “local excellence in media” and is one of the “most sought-after awards in the community.”  This year’s event will be held at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C., Saturday, November 12th and the theme is Célébrons l’Excellence!

I, Whiskey is the second short film in CEI and Passing Lane Film’s award-winning series. The first, I, Pencil: The Movie was a Gold award winner at TIVA’s 2014 awards. We’re thrilled the series continues to garner acclaim from one of the premier festivals in the Washington, D.C. area.

This week marks one month since I, Whiskey debuted. We’re delighted with the film’s warm reception to date —from the film, spirits, and public policy communities—and that more than 140,000 people have watched it online.
