New Video: Cheers to Repeal Day!
Washington, D.C., December 4, 2007—The Bureaucrash Activist Network is releasing a new video just in time to celebrate the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, and the observance of Repeal Day nationwide on December 5th. The video dramatizes the truth that while prohibition of alcohol may be a thing of the past, the finger-wagging mentality of government bureaucrats has changed very little.
"Repeal day isn’t just about the right to drink," said Jason Talley, Bureaucrash Crasher-in-Chief. "We’re using this day to remind people that anytime the government acts, it denies citizens a choice. From smoking to recent attempts to ban bottled water in San Francisco, we believe that individuals, not the government, should decide what is best for themselves."
Bureaucrash will also be co-sponsoring a social event on December 5th in the Washington, D.C. area to celebrate Repeal Day and toast to small government and personal responsibility. Details available online.
