About:

RealClear Radio Hour (RCRH) was a nationally syndicated, one-hour weekly radio program that broadcast from January 2014 – 2017. Produced by the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) and RealClearPolitics. The radio program offered listeners real-world discussion of the political and social issues of the day from a non-partisan, free-market perspective.

Hosted by Bill Frezza, a long time technology entrepreneur and venture capitalist, the show was modeled on the success and format of public radio. Topics covered everything from education policy and health care to finance and technology.

On January 18, 2014, Frezza and producer Amanda France launched the program on Bloomberg Radio Boston, with the consult of radio veteran Scott Hogenson. At retirement, the program broadcast 27 times weekly on 17 stations in 15 cities, with 15 streaming broadcasts and 3 permanent podcasts. Marquee affiliates included Bloomberg Radio Boston, Bloomberg Radio San Francisco, Radio Free Hillsdale, and iHeartRadio. The last show aired on December 31, 2016. It was RealClear Radio Hour’s 155th broadcast.
