Joint-Statement Submitted to House and Senate Committees on Reforming the Electronic Communications Privacy Act

The House and Senate Committees on the Judiciary held separate hearings on the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA) on September 22, 2010, and September 23, 2010, respectively. CEI submitted a joint-statement with the Progress & Freedom Foundation, Americans for Tax Reform, Citizens Against Government Waste, and the Center for Financial Privacy and Human Rights.
