Kent Lassman at the Independence Institute: Deregulation in the Trump Administration

The Competitive Enterprise Institute staff often travel to bring the good news of regulatory reform to friends, allies, and interested audiences all across the country, and sometimes, even to far-flung locations around the world. Whether it’s my colleague Amanda France and I bringing a film about whiskey to Oxford, Mississippi, Myron Ebell addressing the Independent Petroleum Association of New Mexico’s annual meeting in Albuquerque, or Iain Murray participating in a discussion on the Free Market Road Show in Podgorica, Montenegro, we’re willing to travel to where the action is.

Recently our fearless leader Kent Lassman was in Denver, Colorado for an event hosted by our friends at the Independence Institute, where Executive Vice President Amy Oliver Cooke interviewed Kent about the state of play on deregulation in the current administration.

Check out more great content from the Independence Institute, including Rob Natelson’s deep dive into the Senate’s constitutional “advice and consent” role, the Colorado Public Utilities Commission’s pending decision on  the“legally tenuous” Colorado Energy Plan, and an invitation to Independence’s legendary Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Party at the Kiowa Creek Sporting Club on August 18th.
