Uber’s Clash With Regulators Moves to Self-Driving Cars

The Wall Street Journal discusses Uber’s use of self-driving cars in San Fransisco with Marc Scribner. 

“This is right out of the playbook [Uber] used when they were going around the country sort of not asking permission of taxicab regulators before offering their services,” said Marc Scribner, a research fellow who focuses on transportation policy issues for the Competitive Enterprise Institute. “They were able to harness their customer base very effectively to get a lot of the changes that they were seeking.”
