‘Intimidation Campaign’: Subpoenaed Free Market Group Blasts AG’s Climate Change Shutuppery

The Conservative Review reports on the subpoena CEI recieved as part of the Attorneys General's campaign to silence those who disagree with them on climate change.

CEI's largest program takes on all the hard energy and climate issues. CEI questions global warming alarmism, makes the case for access to affordable energy, and opposes energy-rationing policies, including the Kyoto Protocol, cap-and-trade legislation, and EPA regulation of greenhouse gas emissions.

CEI also opposes all government mandates and subsidies for conventional and alternative energy technologies.

Of course, big-government does not like its climate orthodoxy challenged. That is why attorneys general across the country have begun focusing on those who challenge climate-change "consensus." CEI is the latest victim of the witch-hunt on climate change skeptics, but CEI is fighting back.

This attack on CEI is the latest in an ever increasing trend of the government intimidation of conservatives. It follows the IRS targeting scandal and the "John Doe" investigation in to Scott Walker's allies in Wisconsin.
