There is growing consensus that the United States’ primary geopolitical challenge in the 21st century is its competition with China. Artificial intelligence (AI) is set to significantly influence the future of US-China competition on both commercial and military fronts. However, over-zealous antitrust enforcement by the Federal Trade Commission, along with the Department of Justice, threatens American innovation in emerging technologies, diminishing US competitiveness abroad.
Please join CEI for a lunch discussion on a recent study published by the Competitive Enterprise Institute entitled A Global Antitrust Paradox? where we will explore the effects of heightened antitrust scrutiny on US industry and national security.
