Canyon Brimhall was the government affairs manager at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. In this role, he developed and maintained CEI’s relationships with Congress, the White House, federal agencies, and others. Prior to joining CEI, Brimhall worked as a government affairs associate for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Previously, he served as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Brimhall is originally from Arizona and graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in political science. During his school years, he was actively engaged in policy debate as a competitor, coach, and judge.
