Heather Browning is the Vice President of Philanthropy at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. In her role, she manages CEI’s corporate giving program, as well as a sizable portfolio of individual donors.
Browning has spent nearly a decade working in public policy, specializing in partnerships and coalition development. Prior to joining the CEI team, Browning served as the director of strategic partnerships at Americans for Prosperity Foundation, where she oversaw the organizations external partnership efforts.
A native of Beaumont, Texas, Browning received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a MBA specializing in Management & Business Ethics from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. She is an active member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia and when not working, can be found exploring Northern Virginia wineries, cheering on the Houston Astros or planning her next trip to Disney World.
