Heather Browning is the Vice President of Philanthropy at the Competitive Enterprise Institute. In her role, she oversees CEI robust fundraising efforts.

Browning has more than a decade working in public policy, specializing in partnerships, coalition development and fundraising. Prior to joining the CEI team, Browning served as the director of strategic partnerships at Americans for Prosperity Foundation, where she oversaw the organizations external partnership efforts.

A native of Beaumont, Texas, Browning received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a MBA specializing in Management & Business Ethics from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. She also holds a Masters of Public Service and Administration in Nonprofit Management and a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising and Philanthropy from The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University (Gig ‘Em Aggies!).
