Washington, DC, July 27, 2011 – The Competitive Enterprise Institute is pleased to announce immigration policy expert Alex Nowrasteh has joined CEI’s Center for Technology and Innovation to work on not only immigration policy but also regulatory issues, such as technology policy and the Regulation Score Card.
Nowrasteh is a former CEI research associate and policy analyst. Prior to earning a Master of Science in Economic History from the prestigious London School of Economics, Nowrasteh already made a name for himself offering researched and knowledgeable commentary on federal and state immigration policy. On that topic, he has been widely published, in the Wall Street Journal, Fox Forum, The Houston Chronicle, The Boston Globe, Investor’s Business Daily, and many other outlets.
