CEI’s Ryan Radia Weighs in on Latest in Net Neutrality Debate

Last year, Congress used the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to roll back some of President Barack Obama’s “midnight regulations” by enacting “resolutions of disapproval.” The CRA’s agreed upon function, when it passed in the 1990s, was to prevent regulatory overreach by federal agencies. But now supporters of regulating the Internet are flipping the concept on its head, advocating a CRA resolution of disapproval to reverse the Federal Communications Commission’s recent repeal of so-called net neutrality rules.
