New Study on Self-Dealing at the IPCC

According to a new study published this week in the journal Scientometrics, an in-depth analysis of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s AR5 report reveals that 19 out of the 20 most frequently cited authors in that report were directly involved in the compilation of it. By contrast, in the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change’s most recent report, Climate Change Reconsidered II, only one of the 13 most-frequently cited authors of were involved in the compilation of those reports.
