PLATOONING TECH HINDERED BY STATE LAWS: States need to update old laws to enable truck platooning technology, argues the free market think tank Competitive Enterprise Institute in a new report. Many states’ following-too-closely statutes “outlaw many automated vehicle platooning applications,” writes Marc Scribner.
