Conservatives Back White House Climate Panel
Politico cited CEI Director of the Center for Energy and Environment Myron Ebell on a recent coalition letter to President Trump regarding a climate change review panel.
More than 100 organizations and individuals are backing President Donald Trump’s proposed panel to examine whether climate change is a national security threat. In a letter sent to the president Monday, several big-name conservatives called an “independent review” of reports like the Fourth National Climate Assessment “long overdue” and laid out several areas where they hope the White House will focus its attention. Signers include the Competitive Enterprise Institute’s Myron Ebell, Heartland Institute’s Tim Huelskamp and American Energy Alliance’s Tom Pyle.
