Politico cited CEI’s rejection of NLRB nominee Mark Pearce.
MORE PEARCE PUSHBACK: More conservative-leaning groups, including the Competitive Enterprise Institute and Heritage Action (sister of the Heritage Foundation), are urging HELP committee senators not to confirm NLRB nominee Mark Gaston Pearce. Pearce demonstrated “extreme pro-union leanings,” they told the committee in a letter sent today, and “played a part in the weaponization of ethics rules at the NLRB.” The letter is the latest effort by pro-management groups to sink Pearce’s nomination; the U.S. Chamber of Commerce wrote in last month.
