U.S. Coal Pitch Draws Immediate Blowback in Bonn

Politico cited the Competitive Enterprise Institute for its role in bringing legal attention towards the reclassification of the Paris climate agreement as not a treaty but an agreement by the US Department of State.

SUIT FILED FOR OBAMA-ERA PARIS RECORDS: The Competitive Enterprise Institute filed a lawsuit Monday seeking records during the Obama administration from two State Department aides — Trigg Talley and Alexandra Costello — related to the decision not to classify the Paris climate agreement as a treaty, which would have required Senate ratification. Talley is part of this year’s State Department delegation to Bonn.
