CEI Unveils Original Cartoon Series: Unions vs. The Johnsons

Washington, D.C., May 3, 2013 – Organized labor exerts a pernicious influence on the economic lives of all Americans, even those who don’t belong to a labor union.

Unions contribute to everything from higher taxes to fewer opportunities to degraded public services. To illustrate the myriad ways unions erode opportunity for the average American, CEI’s Labor Project introduces its first original cartoon series: Unions vs. The Johnsons. The Johnsons are an average family of four, each of whom find their hopes and aspirations thwarted by the political and legislative power of Big Labor bosses.

In our first installment, which can be viewed at WorkplaceChoice.org, three members of the Johnson family find their hopes crushed by labor-driven developments: who would have thought that Maggie Johnson, age 6, would be affected by union bosses? But she is – to her sorrow, just like her brother Scott, age 15, and their father, Old Man Johnson, age 45.

Find out how at WorkplaceChoice.org, and check back on the 1st and 15th of every month for new installments featuring the travails of the entire Johnson clan, including Mom and Grandpa.

And make WorkplaceChoice.org your home for Big Labor news, and laughs.
