Civil Rights Division Pursues Wacky Radical Agenda (Letter to the Editor)

It was extremely depressing to read that the Obama Justice Department blocked Amazon from selling a talking Kindle reader because its “talk” button doesn’t have Braille. That’s idiotic, since books don’t talk or have Braille buttons either. Apparently, Obama’s radical appointees think it’s better to have no accommodation for the disabled than an imperfect one.

The administration also used the threat of suing under the Americans with Disabilities Act to prevent colleges from using Kindle to lighten their textbook loads, harming students with chronic back problems.

Worst of all, the Obama Justice Department is threatening South Carolina with a lawsuit over its widely admired anti-AIDS program that saves lives in the state’s prisons. The program is perfectly legal under court rulings like Doe v. University of Maryland Medical System.
